NAMING RIGHTS
A New Name on an Iconic NHL Arena
For the first time in a generation, the name on the Minnesota Wild’s arena was being made available to a new organization. With one of NHL’s strongest fan bases and an arena that has become the premier concert venue in the Twin Cities (16th DMA), the interest in placing a corporate brand on the building was intense.
Norden Strategies was retained by Grand Casino to lead the negotiations over the course of 18 months. From independent valuation, contract elements assessment, and one-on-one negotiations with the team and their agent, Oak View Group, Norden leaned on insight and industry relationships to navigate the complex negotiations that resulted in an announcement in August of 2025 of the new Naming Rights partner.
