Cagliari Calcio is a storied Italian soccer (calcio) club that plays in Italy's top-tier soccer league, Serie A. Founded in 1920, the team plays in the city Cagliari on the island of Sardinia, Italy and has a passionate fanbase that over-indexes in match attendance and social media followers. Norden Strategies has been engaged to help a new ownership group find investors to acquire controlling interest in the club and advise on a new stadium development and transition plan for business operations. The team also has development rights in the surrounding area and hope to capitalize on the growing interest of Sardinia as a tourism destination. Delta airlines added new, direct flight to the island in May 2026 based upon demand from their SkyMiles members.
